Imprint Page

An extension for phpBB 3.1 that will put a Imprint-Page to your Board with a link to it in the footer.

This extension is based on the Hello-World-Example from nickvergessen:

Status: Completed

phpBB 3.1-dev or higher
PHP 5.3.3 or higher

  • Change the content of styles/prosilver/template/imprint.html to your needs
  • Copy files into phpBB/ext/nachtelb/imprint
  • Go to "ACP" > "Customise" > "Extensions" and enable the "Nachtelb/Imprint" extension.
The Position of the link to the impress-page could be changed. You have to change the filename of nachtelb/imprint/styles/prosilver/template/event/overall_footer_copyright_append.html to the event-name of another position in the template. You could find those event-names in the phpbb-dev-wiki:

Abandoned - there are better versions in development

Although I'm not really sure what an "imprint-page" is, I recommend that you change:
"Change the content of styles/prosilver/template/imprint.html to your needs"

You should try to avoid at all costs asking people to modify files in your extension.

If you release updates to this extension, it will overwrite the files they modified. And they may not realize it, may have forgotten how they modified it before, and lost their previous modified version.

The extension files should be as stand-alone as possible.

Any sort of variable content should be set up as config variables settable through the Admin Control Panel.
