infspirit wrote:The error is in migrations version_1_1_0.php line 16 return array('david63\cookiepolicy\migrations\version_1_0_0'); should be 1_1_0
No it shouldn't
infspirit wrote:But after changing this line tells me the following

Code: Select all

No route found for "GET /adm/index.php"
That is because you changed the migration file.

Download the latest version, unzip it and then re-upload

This leaves me to download the new version

Code: Select all

Something went wrong in the application and there was an exception. Changes made before the error occurred was invested to the extent of our abilities, but you should check the forum errors .

Unexpectedly, the configuration setting " version_cookiepolicy " does not exist .

I testing the latest version, and I don't see error. :?
Extension works perfectly, you use other extensions in your forum?

You have tried to disable all extensions, delete data from all extensions and test this only?

Edit...

OFF Topic, sorry David.

@ infspirit, you is this user, this topic (e.g.)?

Their problems is a bad migration/update version 3.0.x with MODs to 3.1.x
This has been discussed, I assure you that is not a problem of the extension.

Seems to work in 3.1.3. I haven't updated my board yet.

I have the setting set to all pages, but when I click "I accept" then log in and get redirected back to the index the cookie policy pops up again. Happens in Firefox 28, Chrome and the latest Pale Moon browsers. Also, the cookie policy doesn't show up in Chrome 42, but works in Chrome 43.

Cannot replicate that with the latest version of FF (38.0.5) - FF28 is at least 12 months out of date.

That would not surprise me as there appears to many issues with Chrome in all sorts of areas.

So what about that bit? I use Pale Moon as my main browser. It's based on Mozilla code like Firefox. The cookie policy shows up twice after clicking "I accept."

I have not heard of this being a problem before and I am wondering if this is yet another manifestation of Cloudflare.

Yes, I am using CloudFlare. I wonder if it's the scrip optimization or something. I'll experiment.

Ok, it does not work.
It would very helpful because the portal is the first thing users see when the enter my page. Currently your extension will not appear until the users go to the forum.

Just had a quick look at the portal and unfortunately there is no way to make the Cookie Policy work with it as there are no events in the Portal.

Many, many thanks for this - works perfectly. For any European using advertising on their forum this is a major legal requirement and the period of grace for implementation is now over and folk not using it potentially face fines. You've produced this is the nick of time for many and I know that after many years of using phpBB I had been seriously looking at other forum software that does cater for Europe

Hi,
Would this mod work on 3.0.12 (well, I guess not, since you specifically mention a later version as the minimum requirement)? If not, do you have an older version which would? I can't update my forum due to some other mods not being updated so I'm going to have to make do with it as it is.
Thank you.
