How do you read the SEO sitemap? I have the extension phpbb3 SEO Sitemap now, should I disable it?

Edit-

There seems to be an issue with this extension and the Multi ranks extension. The multi rank won't show up with this activated. viewtopic.php?f=501&t=2345856&hilit=multi+ranks

There's another issue. With this extension enabled, the quick-mod tools at the very bottom of a topic doesn't function 100%. You can't delete a topic or lock a topic. I originally thought it was a combination of this EXT and upload extensions, but I can't pin that down. So far this EXT is the only culprit.

And has been stated many, many times one shouldn't install a non-validated extension into a live environment. For this very reason.

Whether you should or should not, the fact it breaks things should be pointed out so that the code can be fixed. Think of it as a nice friendly PSA. ;)

Which is why they should be installed on test forums as it may cause certain things to not work (which you found out) or, worse, insert a sql injection where a malicious user could then hack your forum.

I have safe guards in place for that. Layers actually.

Did you add this code to your htaccess file?

Code: Select all

RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^(.*)-f([0-9]*)/(.*)-t([0-9]*)-s([0-9]*).html viewtopic.php?f=$2&t=$4&start=$5&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)-f([0-9]*)/(.*)-t([0-9]*).html viewtopic.php?f=$2&t=$4&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)-f([0-9]*)/index-s([0-9]*).html viewforum.php?f=$2&start=$3&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)-f([0-9]*)/ viewforum.php?f=$2&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)-f([0-9]*) viewforum.php?f=$2&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]

The drop down version is wrong.

Hi tas,

I think i might have a problem with my forum and this extension.
When I went to your demo board I can see that there is still "sid=" in your board's address.

For example:
"https://phpbb.tas2580.net/test-forum-f1 ... c60#p10185"

But there is no sid in my forums, for example this one (and any other link inside whole forum):
http://e46forum.pl/auto-detailing-car-d ... ml#p200281

How can I fix this?
I think this is what generates problems in forum navigation (sometimes you post a reply and you get redirected to the whole forum, not the topic and reply is gone).

Thanks!

EDIT:
How can I be that stupid... SID does not have anything to do with this as it is session id... Oh crap.
Anyway, I still have problems with forum redirections after posting.

Ok. I got it. There's no friendly url, when jumping through pages.

For example, you are here:
http://e46forum.pl/pochwal-si%C4%99-sho ... -s580.html

And you want to jump to page number 37 (by clicking this thing and putting 37 and enter).

It does not work. Because it redirects to the wrong address:
http://e46forum.pl/pochwal-si%C4%99-sho ... &start=360

I guess I have to modify some more files. Do you know the code I have to put there?

Thanks!

Congratulations for the excellent work. It is now almost two years; I know that many do not understand the importance of this extension. come your first rc?
