FWIW, Twitter does not display the @ as part of the link. It's in a <s> element that's styled to appear like normal text with a softer colour. XenForo supports mentions and it displays @ as part of the link. No idea about other forums.

I love so much this ext but I had to turn it off, because it consumes all memory of my server. This saddens me a lot.

Although it goes without saying, I really appreciate the work being put into this. Without doubt, I truly believe that, once released, this will be the best extension on here.

Either way, I was quite surprised that something like this wasn't added officially with the release of 3.1.x.

Unsure if this has been posted already...But googles inspector shows some strange errors when you click in the reply text area. Also errors when you add/use bbcodes.

Just quickly tested this on a localhost board, seems to work fairly efficiently, hopefully the teething problems mentioned by other posters on this topic will be cleared up later on

it loads the avatar pics too

Certainly keeping an eye on this one, I hope it gets some love soon. Looking forward to having this up and running on my board once I know the CPU issues have been resolved.

I use this on my live board now, have to say I haven't had any issues, up until now though I have been the only one who use it.........

Extensions under development are not really safe to use on a live site, they could work just fine, but may present bugs that have not been discovered by the development yet that cause unvanted issues.

You can use it, but at your own risk.
