curl

i have and HTTP and HTTPS (on both protocol i have the same error)

i will try 0.0.2 ver.
Say, I'd still like to try to reproduce this issue, so I can figure out how to avoid writing more code in future that shows it up. Can you tell me what version of phpBB you're using, too, please?

Thanks,

Matt

Sorry, I completely missed that, even though I looked for it. Coding all day makes your eyes tired :D

Thanks!

gothick, hello, i ask users on my forum to test how reCaptcha work, all of them can see it and can solved it. So i think it means all work good.

Earlier i wright:
Not all users see reCaptcha.
Now i think - all work, because all of users who test reCaptcha on my forum didn't talk about this problem :) .

PS: Only problem is - i test reCapthcs 2.0 from many different device (and IP's) and every time it ask me enter symbol to solved it (not only me, users who test it on my forum too). But i was hope it will be more easy, just one click... Maybe i do something wrong in settings? I use my old reCaptcha site key and reCaptcha secret key. Maybe i need get new key?

As far as I can tell, there aren't really any settings for reCaptcha. It's asked me to do all sorts of different things while I've been testing—I've had "just tick the box", but I've also been asked to solve single-word and double-word reCAPTCHAS, and once it even asked me to identify the pasta from a variety of different foods.

I'm guessing it may work different depending on all sorts of things, including where the user is in the world, so I might get different results on my forum (where most users are from US/UK/Australia...)

It's probably worth generating new keys and re-trying—I didn't re-use my old keys. But I'm not sure how it's really *meant* to work, and Google aren't saying much (presumably because that would help the spammers...)

Update statistics reCaptcha - 36% solved in one click; 61% solved by enter symbols or sort images; 3% can't solve. I glad this result.

Interesting. This may be because there's only a template for the prosilver style in the extension so far... Which style are you using? (And if it's one that's available for free, can you point me towards a link to it so I can experiment?)

You may want to try moving captcha_recaptcha2.html into a template directory named after your style in the extension. So if you're using style "foo", create a directory .../ext/gothick/recaptcha2/styles/foo/template and copy the captcha_recaptcha2.html into there.

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks for trying that. Glad it worked.

It's a bit weird, though, because I just tried my extension, unchanged, with Modern silver, and it seemed to work fine. Nevertheless, I'm going to try to release an updated version in an hour or two which should work better with styles other than prosilver (which is all I've been testing with until now.)

Cheers,

Matt

I've just release version 0.0.5, with added support for subsilver2. This release may also work better with other styles than previous releases. Enjoy!

Thanks for the helpful testing everyone! I've upgraded the status of this extension from alpha to beta. Version 0.0.6 is now available, including translations for Russian, French and Japanese (thanks to DesignerMix, Sébastien and momo-i.)

Cheers,

Matt
