I use feeds wordpress. You can use an external pages where they show a brief description and a picture.

Something strange happend. When activated box 1 and box 3 , the box 3 shows at the bottem of the forum and not at the right side under box 1. Any clue ?

I'm using both as well, but I want the recent topics in the sidebar.
