Thank you. It's working for links now.
You have a typo in name of extension Social Sharing w/Dyanmic Opengraph Tags
And also in table of extension, i see version 1.0.0, but in settings of it, still 0.9.0
Social Share with Opengraph Tags
0.9.0
Also it would be nice to disable plugin on main page (index) of forum, because im using only icon in first post of topic, but i see included JS for extension.

Oh, one more thing - it is possible to hide "F" icon, when topic is in restricted zone? I have one hidden forum for logged in users and i think it could be wrong to share this :)

A different perspective, this will require more people to log in/register. That would be a good thing.

While this sounds interesting, the business logic would be challenging. How do you determine what is restricted? Not an easy determination.

It's determined from forum permissions? If i set that guest can't see topics - this forum don't need "F" button.
But still - even clicked in restricted topic, FB don't show anything. In popup window all i can see is "Login to see this" and no description/image is shown (of course because FB crawler is anonymous for forum).

I understand, but there are numerous ways to make a forum non viewable by anonymous users. By individual permissions, group permissions, etc. Trying to code for all variations available by phpbb would be challenging.

Thanks for V1.0.0
I noticed that facebook sharing stopped working, but the new version fixed it :)
Can you please add version check to the extension, so we can know automatically that a new version is available? There is an error:

Code: Select all

php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
Thanks again :geek:

This feature only works once the extension has been approved by phpBB. One of the challenges in using extensions in development.

Nope, you can host your own version check file yourself. It will however be replaced when you submit it to the extensions database to link to stable approved releases on approval.

Can you provide documentation on how to set this up?

I have another question.
I think it's simple :)

If post has youtube link, like:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1d_ptE6yrc[/youtube]
Thumbnail, that can be use like [img] tag is:
http://i3.ytimg.com/vi/p1d_ptE6yrc/maxresdefault.jpg
So, bbcode is:
[youtube]{TEXT}youtube.com/{TEXT1}watch?{TEXT2}v={IDENTIFIER}{TEXT3}[/youtube]
http://i3.ytimg.com/vi/{IDENTIFIER}/maxresdefault.jpg

Or maybe is there a way to hide image like adding css class in html-version of my tag for youtube, but still can be use in your extension as image? If i do this - image isn't grabbed.

Version check has now been added to the code and will be used going forward.

There is no one way of adding bbcode for youtube. There are numerous setups. This would prevent it being a universal solution versus a solution for your specific board. We will not add it until, youtube becomes a standard bbcode.
