phpBB 3.1.6
How is this going for you, I have the same configuration and desperately need the extra ranks
Everything seems to be ok on my test board but as it is a test board I have no other members testing it as it is not live (localhost) so I might be missing something. :?
So as far as I can tell it is running ok, what problems are you having?

PS. I may move this to a live test board. :geek:

I haven't installed it yet, I was just curious if all was going well for you.
Our live board has 5,000 users running Subway on 3.1.6 so I'm a bit wary of using it there.

What am I doing wrong? Wrong style on the board? Should be displayed in the ACP still, shouldn't it?
The path seems right, what version of phpBB are you running, what version of php?

Hello,

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file [ROOT]/ext/posey/multiranks/controller/admin_controller.php on line 119: Undefined variable: result
Should be $rank_result, as far as I know.

It should show up in your ACP if you've uploaded it correctly.
The path should be: root/ext/posey/multiranks/composer.json
If the path isn't like that, it will not show up.

Finally got it working.. Do not know why it didn't show up at first :?

First impression is great! Love it!

Is it possible to have an option to wheter or not to include the rank name? I would love it to be possible to only show the rank image, and not the name.

Delete that from style folder. Simple hack.

Have no idea how to do that? Is it possible to remove the text from just the two additional ranks?

To remove text do this:

1) Go to multiranks->styles->prosilver->template->event->viewtopic_body_postrow_rank_after.html
2) Open that file
3) Remove {postrow.RANK_TWO_TITLE} on line one, and {postrow.RANK_THR_TITLE} on line two.
4) Save and upload via FTP.
5) On ur board, delete cache.
6) Done.

Repeat this proccess for any other needed events...

Please use your brain next time, thanks.

Thanks Lordofflies (even with the somewhat unnecessary "use your brain" comment)..

I am NO expert on this, so all help much appreciated. Was able to remove the rank name from posts and the viewing profile page (editing the viewtopic_body_postrow_rank_after.html and both of the memberlist_view_rank_(no)_avatar_after.html files)..

However, where does the ucp_pm_viewmessage_rank_after.html "point"? Somewhere in the UCP you can see the rank that I haven't found?
