Extension Name: Welcome Topic Robot

BIG thank you to 3Di!

Extension Description: After a user logs in for the first time, an automatic topic is created in the chosen forum with the chosen text introducing the new user to the community.

Requirements: None

Features:
  • Extension settings can be altered in the ACP
  • Topic content can be altered in the ACP
  • Auto topic creation after the user logs in for the first time

Many users log out do not.
Can you please change the which also goes if the users do not log off.

Not sure i understand what you mean but i will try and explain:

After you register on the forum, you must log in (that is the first time the user ever logs in) and only then the automatic topic will be created.

Sorry for my english. I'm German .

Many users never log out.

Then the extension can not.

The extension is indeed only when the user logs on again.

Could we change that?

I hope you understand what I mean. :)

No, it's when a 'New' user logs in for the first time. That is when the topic is created.

Oh. OK.

But could that please change that goes to all users?

If I as an admin for example, want what announce and users come to the index page that the info comes the User must read the thread first.

That's not really what this extension is for...There are a couple of extensions that will do that though. Announcement extension, and Redirect user extension. :)

This is great! Maybe a little 'push' to the user to introduce himself..!
That's maybe an idea? Notify the new users in PM that there is an introduction topic been made?
