Any plans to integrate emoji control?
* amount of emojis submitted
* permissions to use emojis
* permissions
etc?
Hi Steve, I can guess the reason for your request. Some naughty boys on my forum submit posts with a ton of smilies/emoji without any words. But I think we should not do this. Emoji really is just Unicode chars or ASCII chars in the shortname format. Why do we prevent them to type these chars? And what the action once the limit of emoji-es reached. E.g, the limit is 10, first 10 Emoji display as images, from the 11th Emoji it will be displayed as plain text or censored chars as wildcard ***? But if you really need it, I can make an add-on for this, because I want to keep the ext as simple as possible.

Hello,
Is there something to do to see the Emoji Picker ?
I've installed and activated the extension. JS and CSS files are in code source but... nothing happens ?
If CSS/JS are loaded, you need the network to get images from CDN. Do you see the smiley icon on the top-right of textarea?

It turns out when I type the :: form pops up with a choice of Emoji, I think it is possible as that to remove
Yes, it turns out because standard Emoji codes begin with only a single colon

and do Emoji why the giant after sending post
Is it an image 64x64 pixels? If yes, then it is using CSS from the CDN, not the local CSS file (emojione.min.css). I resolved this problem by turning off the sprite option (
`sprite: false`
). I guess the local CSS file could not load correctly, and then it use CSS from CDN. Try to clear your web browser cache.
@To everyone, these button problems, include: BBCode buttons, fontsize list, font color box, smilies, inline-attach button, quote button from the bottom review list, will be fixed on the next version. I killed all of them a few hours ago, but I need more time to make it stable and test on other browsers. Thanks for your reports
