All this needs now to be approved is :-

Friends system needs notifications... Everything is all ok apart from chat.

Then I will try the extension out on a live forum. If it becomes popular I will gladly give you a generous donation for the hard work you are putting in.

I look forward to future progress of this extension.

It's a must extension for a community that's sure!

I 'd like to report that I could never make the chat work. All I can see is an empty sidebar.
I tried to add some friends but id didn't work.
From ACP I have enbled the chat. But I never see users on it.
What should I check?

Chat does not work for me either so I disabled it. Everything else works fine, it just needs friend notifications as no one knows any wiser who is trying to add them.

That's odd... what browser or device are you using when the button fails? It works fine my end.

I tested it on Firefox, Google Chrome and MS Edge....and nothing happen on all 3...

Sounds like a js conflicting problem. Could be coming from either another extension you have installed or custom theme. If you installed any other extensions recently try disable them until you find the fault. (Worth a shot)

I'm using milk theme
phpbb 3.2.7
php 7.1

and it works ok. I never upgraded to 3.3 as it broke half of my other extensions. I was lucky I tested 3.3 on demo server not live site.

Also pg social 0.6.3 requires media embed extension. If that isn't installed that could cause a problem.

Just thought of a security issue. Admin and moderators should be able to delete and see other members posts even if posted to friends only. If someone reports something admin can step in and remove their status.

Had a little time to start testing this extension.

Your readme file needs a little fix:
Clone into phpBB/ext/pgreca/pg_social
should be
Clone into phpBB/ext/pgreca/pgsocial

- If the online friend list is empty, we see a 'NOBODY_ONLYNE' text and when clicked, it opens blank message boxes.
When trying to close 1 blank message box, it closes them all.
If you refresh the page, it brings them all back.
If you change page, it brings them all back.

- Clicking a user's username in chat's window, does not take you to their profile.

- Comments on a status will keep pushing the page down, even with 50 comments.
Empty comments with no text are still being displayed.

- When changing colors, it does not seem to properly work.
Only the dark color seems to properly work.

- On my profile, i clicked on change profile picture.
Uploaded my avatar and when i pressed submit i got this error:

Well spotted about the avatar ... I thought it would be ok as it goes to the normal avatar upload page. Moment I tried updating the avatar it gave http:500 error.
