Great piece of code!

German translation:

Code: Select all

<?php
/**
 *
 * No DEA Emails extension for the phpBB Forum Software package.
 *
 * @copyright (c) 2019 Picaron
 * @license GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPL-2.0)
 *
 */

/**
 * DO NOT CHANGE
 */
if (!defined('IN_PHPBB'))
{
	exit;
}

if (empty($lang) || !is_array($lang))
{
	$lang = array();
}

// DEVELOPERS PLEASE NOTE
//
// All language files should use UTF-8 as their encoding and the files must not contain a BOM.
//
// Placeholders can now contain order information, e.g. instead of
// 'Page %s of %s' you can (and should) write 'Page %1$s of %2$s', this allows
// translators to re-order the output of data while ensuring it remains correct
//
// You do not need this where single placeholders are used, e.g. 'Message %d' is fine
// equally where a string contains only two placeholders which are used to wrap text
// in a url you again do not need to specify an order e.g., 'Click %sHERE%s' is fine

$lang = array_merge($lang, array(
		'NO_DEA_EMAILS_INSTALL_ERROR' => '“No DEA Emails” kann nicht installiert werden.<br><br>- phpBB 3.2.4 oder höher wird benötigt.',
		'NO_DEA_EMAILS_NO_CURL' => '“No DEA Emails” kann nicht installiert werden.<br><br>- “allow_url_fopen = On” oder die PHP-Erweiterung “curl” müssen aktiviert sein.',
		'NO_DEA_EMAILS_FOUND' => 'Fehler: Die E-Mail-Adresse ((%s)) ist nicht gültig.<br>Unsere Website unterstützt keine temporären, Einweg- oder Wegwerf-E-Mail-Adressen (<a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-Mail-Konto#Alias-Adressen_und_Wegwerf-E-Mail-Adressen" target="_blank">DEA</a>).<br>Wenn du unsere Seite nutzen möchtest, musst du eine dauerhaft zur Verfügung stehende E-Mail-Adresse angeben.',
));

Re: [3.2][RC] No DEA Emails 1.0.0-RC4

Hi. Just applied version 4. So far so good. I have a few questions:

Is there a log in the Admin log under maintenance that shows the cron was successful or not?

Does the cron get invoked with a member viewing the site?

When I delete a member that had a temp email address, is that member deleted from the board?

Thanks!

When a user is deleted from 'No DEA Emails', it is completely deleted: messages, private messages, avatar ... in short, it is completely removed from the forum.
So I just want to confirm that it is in fact the user that is deleted from the forum, correct? Because I had a user show up with this extension using a temp email address and I removed them with this extension.

Sorry for being a real dunce on this. I misread your reply and failed to actually see you mention the word forum. I was kinda tired when I read your post so there you go. :lol:

This extension is saying I have 63 members when I actually have 17. Why is that?

In my other forum I have 104 users but this extension says 150. Is it counting bots?

Ah, then that makes sense then given the numbers. Apparently 46 bots are counted.

Reading the last two pages of posts, I got a question?

Does this application automatically seek and delete users (and all their content) that were using a DEA email address? If that is the case, can it just disable their accounts? This way they get in touch with forum admin and resolve the issue? Simply tell them to use a real email address and etc.

The reason why I think this would be important, let's say some long time users were using these DEA emails addresses, and during that time, had created guides, tutorials, even participated in many threads. I'd hate if this application would run auto and wipe out all those posts!

Plus it could be used by snowflake members that when they get reprimanded for failing forum rules, they want their accounts removed (having a meltdown of emotions)--well all they have to do is create a DEA email account and update their profiles. -- I would hate that also... ;)

Excellent extension picaron, one of the best that I have installed in my forum.

If I could give a grade I would be 10 Image

Thanks for sharing and congratulations on the beautiful work.
