And neither does a lot of the core jQuery - which is why it has not been updated in the core

phpBB 3.3.x (since Beta1) already has JQuery 3.4.1 implemented.

And this extension works just fine with it.

I had to remove the extension right away because I noticed it unfortunately made my CPU usage go crazy and made the input lag as I was typing posts. The difference was obvious after removing the extension. I don't know if anybody else has noticed that problem?

I'm using Chrome on Windows 10. That aside, nice work! I hope this issue can be fixed in the future.

C'mon guys, be gentle. Do not continuosly full quote each other, that makes this topic unreadable.
Simply add your comments in reply, if necessary simply quote an excerpt of it.

Open a ticket at our tracker instead, that's the option IMO.
Will be taken into consideration when we get some spare time.
