Year has to Change Dynamically in Copyright

Post by syedwaseemahmed »

I want to remove "Powered by phpBB® Forum Software © phpBB Limited." and replace "Copyright © 2016 XXXXX Software Pvt Ltd.".

But 2016 has to change dynamically every year.

It is possible to do like that??

Thank's a lot for your support.

Yes - but it is unlikely that you will get any help here in removing the phpBB copyright.

Please explain why you want to remove the copyright.

Just because it is Open Source does not mean that you can disregard the copyright of the source and claim it as your own. There are many people who have spent literally thousands of hours developing phpBB in their spare time - do you not think that they deserve some recognition?

You will also find that by removing the phpBB copyright that some members of this board will not offer support.

In any case, that isn't how copyright dates work. They are the dates relating to the software put there by the author not today's date.
