Update 3.1.10 to 3.2 Update - The installer detected a timeout

Post by Zaxx81 » Mon Jan 09, 2017 6:58 am

Installed 3.1.10 about a week ago. Went through the procedures for automatic update for 3.2 (which btw was a nightmare). Decided to try the clean install by deleting all the files except for config.php, images/, files/, store/, and ext/, then I copied all those back into the root phpBB folder.

When I run mysite/install/app.php and choose update, it gets the to database update, and I receive "the installer detected a timeout".

did you ever find a solution that worked for your timeout problem?

I have the same problem trying to go from version 3.0.11 to 3.2.2

Especially as this topic is over a year old, things have changed since then.
