The method described here is for updating 3.2.x boards with no core code changes
And you want to do the automatic update ( for changes in the core code.)
Almost same issue here, downloaded the one which says - 3.2.x boards with no core code changes and uploaded vendors and install (had renamed cache and vendors earlier as a backup), forum went offline post upload, got puzzled, renamed newer folders and brought back folders from backup and all looks well as of now.

But forum admin page says,

"Your phpBB installation has not been correctly updated. Please read the information below in order to fix this error."

Files Version > 3.2.1
Database version > 3.2.0

Have brought back install folder and updated database which said 100%, bit still the same notice as above is reported. Hope someone helps me with a solution. Sorry, people like me (with some little knowledge on PHPBB trying to do an update) do exist. ;)

Thanks

I though restoring the vendors and cache folder would do the job but now i have 2 issues,

1:
PHPBB ERROR.png
2: Email fails with error code -

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/template/twig/environment.php on line 76: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/vendor/twig/twig/lib/Twig/Environment.php on line 108: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array
All i new have are multiple times backedup databases.

Whoever has an idea how to resolve these please assist.

Thanks.

Upload the files from the autoupdater again.
Delete the io_lock.lock file from the store folder
go to the install folder and do the update again
Sorry! My English is bat ;) !!!

I dont have an autoupdater file. Please assist with its location and the procedure to upload.
Under the downloads section > Automatic update > Update packages are not currently available.
I might have made a mistake last time so wish to get it correct this time.

Thanks.
