Do you have any fancy rules in .htaccess (or probably in nginx config if any)?

I haven't messed with those files at all.
One of my users sent me this wget output, unfortunately it's in German. Maybe it is helpful to you...

At least you have 301 redirect from http to https, so it seems that you have messed really ;)

Not knowingly... it was working before the update, and the forum has been https for a year or so...

Doesn't seem to work at all for me and my members...

--- Edit: apparently the feed can be found at https://www.telexforum.de/app.php/feed

I'm pretty sure that it simply used to be https://www.telexforum.de/feed , without the "app.php"
What happened there and how could I correct that? mod_rewrite is active and supported.

This is still happening, even after the update to 3.2.2
/feed isn't working, /app.php/feed works.

Under ACP >> Server settings what do you have "Enable URL Rewriting:" set to?

Right click the page and select "inspect element" (that's for FF, might be something different in other browser) then find the network tab (again might be labeled something different).

Refresh the page. This will do two things, your browser will cache redirects and the developer console should not load anything from the cache. The second thing is it will give you list of the requests being made to the server and the responses.

edit
You have purged the cache from the ACP?

Yeah, many times. It stopped working a year ago or so when I made the upgrade from 3.1.10 to 3.2.1
Yesterday I did update from 3.2.1 to 3.2.2 and I was hoping that this would fix the issue, but it didn't.

This is what the network tab says in Edge.

Well, again :) What are your redirection rules, especially for app.php? And where is the last one placed to in .htaccess?

I'm just a "normal user" who doesn't mess with redirects or any special files, I am already happy if the phpbb update went smoothly.
If you tell me what to do and where to look I could provide some answers... sorry

Edit: This is the .htaccess file

Code: Select all

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on

#
# Uncomment the statement below if URL rewriting doesn't
# work properly. If you installed phpBB in a subdirectory
# of your site, properly set the argument for the statement.
# e.g.: if your domain is test.com and you installed phpBB
# in http://www.test.com/phpBB/index.php you have to set
# the statement RewriteBase /phpBB/
#
#RewriteBase /

#
# Uncomment the statement below if you want to make use of
# HTTP authentication and it does not already work.
# This could be required if you are for example using PHP via Apache CGI.
#
#RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization},L]

#
# The following 3 lines will rewrite URLs passed through the front controller
# to not require app.php in the actual URL. In other words, a controller is
# by default accessed at /app.php/my/controller, but can also be accessed at
# /my/controller
#
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ app.php [QSA,L]

#
# If symbolic links are not already being followed,
# uncomment the line below.
#
#Options +FollowSymLinks
</IfModule>

# With Apache 2.4 the "Order, Deny" syntax has been deprecated and moved from
# module mod_authz_host to a new module called mod_access_compat (which may be
# disabled) and a new "Require" syntax has been introduced to mod_authz_host.
# We could just conditionally provide both versions, but unfortunately Apache
# does not explicitly tell us its version if the module mod_version is not
# available. In this case, we check for the availability of module
# mod_authz_core (which should be on 2.4 or higher only) as a best guess.
