Forum prune settings: Nothing is happening?

Post by nomad666 »

I will add an attachment here of my prune settings so far nothing is happening.
1- does it only take affect to posts made after prune settings are saved?

since I just resaved it today its been 10 days since I setup this particular forum up with it and it is set to delete after 7 days and the posts are still their?

so is this a known bug?

Correct, it will only remove topics where there has not been a view or a post for 7 days. It's also only triggered when someone goes in to that forum after the time frame is up.

Make a test forum with a post or two and set it to 1 day so you don't have to wait a week to find out if it works.

We would have no way of knowing, try disabling all your extensions and see what happens.
