Hello yes the users are resizing them to keep within the size of the theme I use using various different programs, there was never an issue before the upgrade, no complaints at all, there definitely appears to be a change since the upgrade.
Has it been reported as a bug?

If you want to "repair" your picture thenThat way the metadata will not be copied (in case you choose JPEG as format again you'll notice a big difference in the filesize) and phpBB will finally recognize the correct dimensions.
- Open it in your favorite image editor (mostly thru CTRL+O), then either
- copy it to the clipboard (the picture's 150x150px canvas, not the file - this means to most editors CTRL+A, then CTRL+C),
- create a new file with the same dimensions (mostly CTRL+N),
- paste your clipboard content (mostly CTRL+V),
- save the file (mostly CTRL+S).
- ...or save the file in a different format (PNG, GIF, BMP...).

Hello Yes I did report it has a bug but it got closed and directed to another example, to be totally honest the bug system unless you understand it seems a little complicated, well certainly in my mind so I am not really sure if the issue is going to be fixed, has already been fixed ? this side is very unclear to me
Hello I used your advice on my forum which certainly helps as a fix for the time being so thanks for that but my forum has around 20 to 50 attachment uploads every single day and I am being contacted by so many members explaining the same issue, I have made a post but that tends to get over looked.Sycend wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 9:14 pm Hello, i am the guy from the problem topic linked in the 2nd post of this thread.
On our board its also on normal attachments, on Avatar it was the easiest way to reproduce it for me.
Are there information regards a patch to this problem?
Best short time workaround so far.AmigoJack wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 9:44 am
