"Forum" of type "link" - open in new tab

Post by ZNL » Tue Nov 21, 2017 10:39 am

Hi,

i have in my phpBB forum three "forums".

1) Discusion (real forum)
2) Blog (external link to my blog)
3) Chat (external link to my chat)

Is there any way to make open the 2) and 3) links in new tab?

Thanks...

There's always right click and select 'open in new tab' or 'open in new window' which is the correct way to give everyone the opportunity to open things as they wish but does External Links Open in New Window do what you want?

Are you certain you uploaded the correct folder to the proper place? The 'rmcgirr83' folder should be uploaded to the /ext folder. Support for that extension is here elonw support.

If you post a screenshot of your FTP window showing where it is, with the folders expanded we'll be able to tell you why it's not working.

Looks like all three of those folders are in the /phpbb folder within the /ext folder. Move them up one level so they are in the /ext folder, on the same level as the /phpbb folder.

googleanalytics and viglink are phpbb extensions, I believe, so shouldn't be moved. Only the rmcgirr83 one should be moved up one level.
