Update too 3.2.1 from 3.2.0?

Post by dansk » Thu Dec 07, 2017 8:14 pm

Need to update? If I update, I have to start over again? Do you have another style, some ext, have modified my forum a lot and will it be lost so I have to fix it all over again?
Then seem to have many problems after they have updated

It isn’t recommended to edit core code for precisely this reason. Knowledge Base - Updating 3.2.x is the recommended update path but please read the warning:
Description: The method described here is for updating 3.2.x boards with no core code changes.

not really understand what it means, does everything I've done on my site change? Style, modifications and so forth?

Style, you need to ask the author unless it’s prosilver which we support.
Modifications, who knows? As there are none in phpBB 3.2 only you can answer that.

Basically, if you’re editing core code the responsibility for maintaining it is yours through upgrades/updates but, as mentioned, editing core code is no longer recommended

Basically, it's probably prosilver but the one who created the style I'm using has died, there's no support anymore for that style.
Do not know if it's core code I changed, but I'm certainly very pleased with what I've achieved
