Problem with automatic generated hyperlinks

Recently we upgraded from phpBB 3.1.10 towards 3.2.1. Since then, we experience a problem in the way the software makes hyperlinks of URL's in posts, posted without the [url] bb-code.

As seen on the image, when an URL is posted without the protocol (like http:// or https://), then the hyperlink takes the shape of "www.<board domain>.nl/<external page>" instead of "<external page>". This does not occur when http:// or https:// is in front.

Is this a known bug in phpBB 3.2.1 or a fault in our server configuration? We are running nginx.

Anyone who recognizes this problem or knows a solution for this? I also experienced this now on a forum which runs on apache.

More than likely a server config problem.

Seems to work fine here: www.phpbb.com

Maybe an extension is interfering?

If you need to post any information, please do it in text form. A picture of text is very impractical.

There is not a file named forumdisplay.php but viewforum.php in a vanilla phpBB.

But if it is an external page that you are linking, as I read now, then yes.. could be a server configuration issue.
The question is: are you using an ext. page to display forums?

A link to the board/post could help.
