3.1.9 to 3.2 Update Fail

What version of phpBB are you using? phpBB 3.1.9

Who do you host your board with? https://www.millsysinc.com/
How did you install your board? I used the download package from phpBB.com
What is the most recent action performed on your board? Update from a previous version of phpBB3
Is registration required to reproduce this issue? No
Do you have any MODs installed? No
Do you have any extensions installed? No
What version of phpBB3 did you update from? phpBB 3.1.9
What styles do you currently have installed? prosilver
What language(s) is your board currently using? english
Which database type/version are you using? I Don't Know
What is your level of experience? New to PHP and phpBB
What actions did you take (updating your board; installing a MOD, style or extension; etc.) prior to this problem becoming noticeable? Tried updating from 3.1.9, I backed up to gz file to my PC and made a copy of the whole directory too.

Could not reach the install page and tried it all over again, still fail

I have done the update several times in the past years and I thought I had followed the directions this time, was't expecting any problems.

Seems like the prosilver style is missing in the styles folder. Or the style is not updated to phpBB 3.2.2

Download the full phpBB package, and reupload the prosilver style. Maybe something went wrong the first time.

no luck, but I did notice that the remote styles directory has an "all" folder not present in the local download folder

Delete everything in the cache folder except index.htm and .htaccess

You need to cmod the cache folder to 0777

Open filezilla, right click the cache folder and file or folder permissions

when I enter 0777 it reverts to xxx

filezilla

Command: SITE CHMOD 0777 cache
Response: 500 'SITE': command not understood

Is it a windows server? Then you need to cmod in the administation panel of the server.. Sorry I dont know windows servers
