Server updated, now getting SQL error

Post by Furball Zen » Thu Feb 22, 2018 4:55 pm

Im running IIS 8.0 Express, MySQL Server 5.5 on Windows 10 and overnight Windows updated to the Fall Creators Update (without me knowing) and now im getting this error:

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/db/driver/mysql.php on line 275: mysql_fetch_assoc(): 26 is not a valid MySQL result resource
Im sure i could roll the update back and then just lock it down for no future updates, but id like to fix the issue if possible. I looked, but the specific issue was not found.

On my other forum, i cant even get passed:

Code: Select all

General Error
NO_STYLE_DATA

BACKTRACE

FILE: (not given by php)
LINE: (not given by php)
CALL: msg_handler()

FILE: [ROOT]/phpbb/user.php
LINE: 283
CALL: trigger_error()

FILE: [ROOT]/index.php
LINE: 29
CALL: phpbb\user->setup()

Im checking the permissions on the disk to make sure no permissions got hosed. Other than that, any advice?

Port 80 is for your server, port 3306 is for your db :)
If your forum displays correctly in IE, it needs to be fixed :)

I got rid of the error by giving IUSR and IIS_USERS Write permissions on the WWW root folder, but not sure i want to have to leave that.
