Hello all,
Note that i need to activate the LDAP Authentication mode.
Consequently when configuring same i'm having the below message:
Information
LDAP extension not available.
My server is a Windows Server 2012 R2.
Can you provide me the exact guidelines to install LDAP extension for PHP?
i have seen several articles but none is working.

Hello mick,
I have already gone through the 'Client Authentication' sections of the manual.
My issue is installing/enabling the LDAP extension for PHP Version 5.6.31 on a Windows Server 2012.

Server configuration is beyond the scope of this board - you would be better off asking your question on a forum dedicated to this type of configuration.

I now no longer support any of my extensions but they will start to become available here
Hello all,
I have seen over the net about how to enable the LDAP extension for php. Needed to install PHPManager on the server.
I managed to install same on my server but i'm unable to open or access same.
Anyone knows how to use/open PHP Manager to enable ldap extension?
Hello all,
I managed to access the phpManager which is via IIS Console and successfully enable the LDAP Extension.
Consequently while configuring the LDAP on the phpBB (ACP > Authentication), i'm having the following error: Information: Could not find a login identity for admforum., where admforum is the admin account for the forum.
You should Google search the error message “information: could not find a login identity for adm forum” there are several hits to do with phpBB, LDAP and IIS.

Hello Mick,
Thanks, I managed to find out the exact settings for the LDAP authentication and the setting has been saved without any error.
Consequently:

That is once they open the url they are automatically registered (using their LDAP details - username, email) and they receive a mail etc.
But do we have any thing other settings to configure? because i have opened the URL (ldap authentication already saved) and it's not login automatically to the forum.
