Topic-based feed settings in 3.2.2 don't display last post

Post by whk »

I am using topic based post feeds with the desire to display the most recent post for 10 active topics. This is displayed in a Wordpress page sidebar https://j109.org using a widget that gets the Atom feed from the forum. In general this works fine for most feed options, but the selection of:
Enable active topics feed:
Enables the “Active Topics” feed, which displays the last active topics including the last post.
Displays the first post of an active topic, not the last post. It does seem to properly trigger the activity to display the topic in the feed. This is the only enabled feed option. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem?
