You need to delete data as well

Ah. Well, that broadens the scope a bit. I know I will lose my mChat archive, and that's fine. I'll have to review the scope of what else might be affected by doing that.

OK - I backed up my database, disabled all the extensions, and deleted their data:

Here's the phpbb_ext table:
ext.JPG
The warning persists:

Since this is an active board, I've (successfully) restored the database and reenabled the extensions. But, I'm happy to hear suggestions for next steps.

Thanks
Dan

Sometimes if disabling extension & deleting data doesn't do what is expected you may try to delete cache production (only) folder.

I did that. I renamed .../cache to .../cache2, created a new .../cache, set protections to 777, and deleted .../cache2.

Still no love.

The real issue is the exception is empty, that's not normal I can say, based on my experience.

Every time I encountered this screen during my coding's sessions (very rare though) the exception wasn't empty AFAIR.

There are two things that I find strange with your listings above.

1. There are entries in the ext table when you have deleted the extension's data - those extensions are showing as disabled, but still with data.
2. The order of the extensions in the ext table appears to be random whereas it would normally be in alphabetical order.

Are any of these extensions for phpBB 3.1?

There are indeed updates for some of the extensions. This evening (east coast US) I will update and repeat this exercise.

I agree, 3Di - it's odd that it reports an exception, but that the exception is null. And then goes on to report that the update was successful.

OK; I upgraded mChat, OneAll Social Login, and Stop Forum Spam, all of which have tested with 3.2. I know that Site Logo is still RC6, but I've been running it forever and it works great - and it's designed for 3.2. The warning persisted.

I then disabled my board, backed up my database, disabled the extensions, and deleted all their data:
extensions.JPG
The phpbb_ext table is now empty!
phpbb_ext.JPG
...but: The warning persists -
error.JPG
Unless someone can suggest something less invasive to diagnose, I'm going to wait until 3.2.3 in the hopes the upgrade will make this issue disappear. It's simply too traumatic to go through the machinations of replacing the database. Yeah; I give up. Thanks for all who tried to help.

Have seen that error on my develop environment. Only thing that comes to mind, is some sort of conflict with extension data. You may have disabled & deleted extensions (deleted production folder), but it doesn't mean that every bit of data is gone from db. Exception that i got was a leftover in modules table.

It could help if it were possible to investigate that bridge's code. ;)

The resolution to my issue! The complaint about extensions, was actually not about an extension after all:

Thanks kasimi!
