Try re-uploading the vendor and phpbb folders.

Thanks a lot!

A quick check at the installation with the blank db shows a working 3.2.2. :idea:
Will try to implement the updated old db to work with it in the evening.

Thanks³.

Implementation of the old (previously updated) db works.

The only issue that I see: I'm getting an error message by clicking on the ACP extensions tab:

Code: Select all

Cannot find module ./../includes/acp/acp_impressum.php

BACKTRACE

FILE: (not given by php)
LINE: (not given by php)
CALL: msg_handler()

FILE: [ROOT]/includes/functions_module.php
LINE: 573
CALL: trigger_error()

FILE: [ROOT]/adm/index.php
LINE: 82
CALL: p_master->load_active()

I think I should use 3Dis "modission_reset tool" to clean the db and get rid of any unnecessary content in it?

That would be a good thing to do. That "impressum" module is not standard.

I just hope that the OP kept the original database aside.
After reading this topic, I would like to say that I suspect that a giant salad was made at the time is now.

The salad was already there when I took over the board.

I am using a dump of the db in a different db, so no matter what happens after my amateurish attempts, I can delete everything an start again.

Is there any idea how to organize it?

The gigantic salad I was talking about includes the primordial backup and all the attempts made so far, following the present topic that I read from beginning to end. It's not taken for granted in my opinion that the primordial DB backup is completely corrupted or just to be fixed at its origins and before going any further, if I may add.

  • 1 - It would be optimal to install a virgin V 3.0.13-PL1 - Board and compare the DBs, find any shortcomings and fix them.
  • 2 - Once this is done, you could gradually (multiple steps) proceed with the updates by following the normal procedure and using the STK.
The first part requires a reasonable and thorough knowledge of the structure and functioning of the version(s) we are talking about, as well as of phpBB in general.

Hope this helps.

I'd really like to use the stk as adviced, but:

Still there, even in a clean 3.0.13_PL1 (with old /files, /images, /store - dirs; db is updated to 3.0.13_Pl1 with no error)

I'm not able to get rid of this. What can I do?

Thank you.
STK now works with my plain 3.0.13_PL1 (fresh db).
Spending more time on making it work with the existing db now.
