Mobile friendly?

Post by Jeepgal » Thu Apr 19, 2018 10:06 pm

I think I have the latest version, 3.2.2 . (Or PHP version 5.6.33) Is this mobile friendly? I'm not really sure what it's supposed to look like on a mobile device, I always use the desktop for BB browsing. My BB is barely a year old and everything else seems to be working fine, I'm just confused about this. I'm also really new to this

The default style in phpBB (prosilver) is mobile friendly (responsive).

When you’re on your desktop squish the board width and you’ll see how it looks to a mobile device.

There are no ‘threads’ in phpBB, they are topics.

by mobile friendly you mean responsive? Yes - it is. Even the default version is responsive.
I'm not really sure what it's supposed to look like on a mobile device
- take any mobile device (smartphone, iPad whatever) and just check it out, navigate the page, click on something. It's the easier way :)

not if you don't have access to a smart phone to test it. like me. I have no smart phones ( use only older phones with only very basic web access ), don't own a tablet or even a laptop. however, there are plenty of sites like the one I posted above that you can very quickly go to and find out what your site looks like in other devices.

or, you can do what Mich said and simply resize your browser screen to see what it looks like at different sizes.
