If you think it’s an .htaccess file problem, rename it and see what happens, your board will work without it. Obviously name it back once you’ve finished troubleshooting. Please fill out the Support Request Template and post it back here to enable us to assist you better.

And domain by the looks of it.

Your cookie domain is showing europeanmir.net and it should be .totalmxmadness.co.uk, note the leading dot. See Knowledge Base - Fixing incorrect cookie settings.

Seems like you need to contact the host..
Try to add this in .htaccess

Code: Select all

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html
AddHandler x-httpd-php .php .htm .html

A question about that. I looked at the cookie setting for my phpBB 3.2 install. While I've not had any issues at all with people staying logged in, all works fine. I can see it isn't using a . before the domain name. My cookie setting also only lists the domain like this in it "domain.com" and not ".domain.com".

So is it supposed to have that . at the start or what? As it never added that . at the start when I first installed 3.2 as a clean install in the root directory. And it's never caused any problems not having that . at the start of the cookie domain listed in the box

It seems like a PHP module in your server settings.
I noticed that some servers are automatically adding this in .htaccess

Code: Select all

<IfModule mime_module>
  AddType application/x-httpd-ea-php72 .php .php7 .phtml
</IfModule>
# php -- END cPanel-generated handler, do not edit

In general yes (see the KB) but, in certain circumstances like yours with the .co.uk it seems to be either or, I think it’s probably to do with server set up but the cookie domain has to be right whatever ;) I’ve looked and your settings are correct and seem to be working properly.

Can you start a new topic for your other board please, the SRT speaks a thousand words, thanks.
