Why not allow forum administrator to enable or disable captcha for this page?KevC wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 11:39 amBecause a lot of time people who use the contact form are having trouble solving the registration captcha so giving it to them again to fill out the form wouldn't hep them get through that either.
There are at least 2 or 3 alternative ways to obscure that link from bots though in the extensions database.
Thanks for this info.HiFiKabin wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 12:35 pmThere are 2 extensions that will solve your problem.
Obscure Contact Us (my extension that adds a mailto link which is as near as bot proof as anything (I have had zero bot mails in 5+ years)
Contact Admin (an extension by RMcGirr83)
Neither of the extensions 'decide' what should or should not be posted, you decide.
... and if you no longer want to use the extension, disable and delete its data and you are back to exactly how your forum was before you added them
Sorry, i never understand this intervention, i just expressed myself and as told I updated in what I do.Mick wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 2:21 pmYou've been told two or three times that you need an extension, that's your answer. Have search of the extensions db and if you don't find anything to suit your purpose you can make an extension request. Also. as has been said, you can post an RFC in Area51 or an idea here.
