A new registrant sent me an email saying they registered and logged in but within a minute or so they were automatically logged out. they then logged back in and the same thing happened logged out within a minute or so again.
I then logged in as the Administrator and the same thing happened to me. I could see my username etc. Top right all looked good but I too was logged out automatically. Did this a few times and then I was locked out of the forum with invalid password. I clicked on forgot my password it sent me a temporary one and I logged back in but was subsequently automatically logged back out. I restored my site files (No mysql) just public_html still but still had issue. Host finally agreed to restore the PHPBB3 database back a couple days and I was able to enter username and password without error but I was not logged in when the page refreshed as No username/login on upper right.
Next Step I ran this query to create a temporary admin login which ran ok in phpmyadmin but could not login with it:

In phpMyAdmin, run the following, which will create an admin user named Admin1 with a password of admin. From that point you should be able to get into the ACP.
CODE: SELECT ALL
INSERT INTO phpbb_users (user_type, group_id, username, username_clean, user_regdate, user_password, user_email, user_lang, user_style, user_rank, user_colour, user_posts, user_permissions, user_ip, user_birthday, user_lastpage, user_last_confirm_key, user_post_sortby_type, user_post_sortby_dir, user_topic_sortby_type, user_topic_sortby_dir, user_avatar, user_sig, user_sig_bbcode_uid, user_jabber, user_actkey, user_newpasswd) VALUES (3, 5, 'Admin1', 'admin1', 0, '21232f297a57a5a743894a0e4a801fc3', 'email@example.com
', 'en', 1, 1, 'AA0000', 1, '', '', '', '', '', 't', 'a', 't', 'd', '', '', '', '', '', '');
Change your table prefix if it is not phpbb_
I just backed up the database so I don't do anymore damage but we're down and was told it has been this way for a week or more from another forum member Thanks for suggestions: Joe www.bathouseforum.org/forum
