This board has no forums.

Post by jonhcarter » Fri Aug 10, 2018 8:54 am

i have migrated forum from mybb1.8 > 3.1.12 > 3.2 successfully. now the problem is the user of the forum is getting "This board has no forums." error. i have fixed it for anonymous users but for existing use which permission will work "newly registered user" or "standard features".

Yes you can delete any groups except the default ones.

The auto groups extension allows you to set post limits for group membership
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... to_groups/

To add someone to a group...
users and groups > manage groups > members
This is better for adding multiple people to a group

Or
manage users > enter their name > choose groups from the drop list on the right
You can then add that person to any groups on the list.
