Fresh instalation - Install tab nor working

Post by sergiogregorutti »

Hi all,

I'm trying to install phpBB without success.

I have all the files in the server but when I go to the Install page and I click on the Install tab, it redirects to Overview tab. There's no error message.

I'm using Github to upload the files into the server. Maybe is a problem with files permission?

Thanks in advance.

What happens when you do it as written in docs (download full pack, unpack on local, transfer via ftp and set permissions)?
Usus est magister optimus! phpBB pre-Triton & latest php environment.
When answer lies in the question, question becomes redundant!

I don't have FTP access. I use SSH to manage the server.
But I'm also using GIT. So I commit my changes to my git repository and then I make a git pull on the server.

Which permissions do I have to set? Maybe I can do it manually on the server via SSH.
