Spam in Atom feed

Post by Bootstrap »

Someone has managed to insert text into the Atom feed for my board (see http://ibiblio.org/bgreek/forum/app.php/feed).

This spam text does not occur in the original post (http://www.ibiblio.org/bgreek/forum/vie ... 538#p31045).

Can I regenerate the Atom feed? Any idea how this could have been done or how I can prevent this?

The text is there. It is just too small to see.

Thanks - I edited it out.

But ... how could this have happened? The person who posted this originally probably did not insert it.

Yep fairly classic spammer behaviour. New on the board, quote something (adding a link in the quoted text) and just say 'thanks I found that useful' or words to that effect. We see it a lot.
