Bug in Users and Groups in the ACP ?

Post by superdeeid » Tue Oct 23, 2018 6:44 pm

Hi all, New here!

Just come across a bug in Chrome (didnt check with Edge/IE/Firefox since they cant login) in the ACP.
In the 'users and groups' > 'user permissions' the dropdown selection doesnt go over the area allowed. I included an attahcment to show you what i mean.

And yes, i'm using default theme, php 3.2.x.

Regards,
phpbb3.2.x bug - chrome.png

No problem with Firefox so I suspect it is just another of the Chrome problems that seem to be around at the moment.

Check your screen resolutions + chrome settings.

Cannot reproduce with Chrome 64x64 on Windows 7x64 - maybe you're using a different version/architecture on a different OS? What your screenshot shows doesn't look okay: the "Role" caption is missing, the username header is missing, the white background of all that is missing, and so are the links "All YES", "All NO", "All NEVER". Check your /adm/style/ folder against unmodified files.

Installed styles are unbound to the ACP (which uses its own style). PHP 3.2.x never existed (only 3.0.17), did you mean phpBB 3.2.x?

I'm using WIndows 10 and Chrome 69x64bits on stock style on this phpbb v3.2.x. nothing fancy.
Why i can't login ? don't know... all phpbb forums that i tried login (i managed 3 for clients) and this one arent login in even if i delete de cookies. Only Chrome's working for any reason.

But i found a way to correct it. the solution is to remove the 'overflow-x:auto' at line 13 of /adm/style/acp_digests.css ... That's what causing the problem.

That is not part of standard phpBB. You should be reporting the problem wherever you got that.

A bug is a feature that hasn't made it to the manual (yet)
