Okay almost there, not quite. Configuring the new multiple smilies. The images are in the smilies directory. They show up as smiley image files in the smilies configuration box. But I don't understand the following (code and emotion). I tried leaving them blank and that didn't work. The manual says it's text, and I tried various texts, like "right' and "wrong," etc. But after submit it says no smilies were added.

Code? (I tried :WR and :Ch)
Emotion? (I tried Wrong and Check)

Okay so that was a bust, using my own .gifs, so I went out to emojiland and found the two emojis, so now I have them and they have codes (e.g. :white_check_mark:). I tried copying the emoji from the site to my clipboard, but then where do I paste it in and what is the filename?

✅ Okay so it copies here! but what's the filename or how do I put it on the server? Sorry, this really sounds stupid, but I am not figuring it out. I mean, it doesn't copy into Word.

Geat, I understand I can paste the emojis into Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, here on this board, but how do I paste them and get them to the server so I can link to them on the add multiple smilies page?

But I don't understand the following (code and emotion
The code is what they would type for it to be interpreted as a smilie so :WR would work fine
The emotion is what shows up if you hover the mouse over the image and tells people what it represents.

Any image on the internet can be downloaded by right clicking and doing save as.
That image must be uploaded to your smilies folder.
Then when you add a smilie you need to say where it is, what the code is that represents it, what the image means (the emotion), the size and where you want it on the list and whether it's on the posting page or on a pop out.

That's it.
submit.
