why is not my forum's SSL certificate displayed?

Post by Affin » Sun Nov 18, 2018 2:09 am

Hope it's the right forum part for the subject,

I wonder why my forum's SLL certificate is not displayed for? I have created .htaccess file, when I'm in ACP, it works, but not if I'm out on the forum, then that lock is not visible.

Edit

I've come across it, when I use ext header banner so few browsers say that the page is not sure and the lock is not visible. Why it will be, I do not know.

The lock is not showing because the image you are using is not on a secure site. If ANY image on your forum is 'not secure' then the badlock will not show.

What should I do then? If I run an image without the ext, the page will be safe, but when I turn on ext, it becomes uncertain. I'm not saying ext is uncertain, but so does the browser interpret.

If you host the image on your own server there will not be any conflict with the SSL padlock

But I have a picture even now on my forum, and it is a web host and now without "warning" that the page is not sure. As soon as I turn on that ext, I'm unsure. Do not know what it's all about.

May I also suggest that you attempt to solve one issue at a time. Having many topics open my confuse the issue rather than solve it.

Also as this appears to be a Extension question, please address you problem here
