I already tried once by using the same steps as were recommended for the upgrade.

You can only do it if you have a backup from before you updated.

If those extensions don't work you'll need to disable them until the authors make fixes.

I downloaded the fix, but being a complete noob, I have no Idea of how to apply it...
Is this possibly the issue; i.e. That what's "broken" is due to the known 3.2.4 bbcode::bbcode constructor rename issue?

If you're simply using the phpBB-released 3.2.4 files as-is (i.e. no custom code changes of your own that you have to re-integrate at every release), then the files attached to this post have the fix already integrated.

Meaning you can download those attached files, and upload them using FTP to replace the bbcode.php and functions_content.php in your 3.2.4 board's /includes directory. Once successfully uploaded and overwritten, then clear your cache from the ACP "General" tab after applying the change.

Regardless of whether you already know this is the problem occurring for you or not, it might be worth at least testing applying this known issue fix, before resorting to restoring a backup to back-rev to 3.2.3.

I tried uploading the 2 files along with clearing the cache...
Moon phase still doesn't show an image (Just the place on the header where it's supposed to be...)
if you click the link to view the sitemap in the ACP, all you get is a blank page..(They were both working before the upgrade)...

Good to hear. That matches the results HiFiKabin was seeing too, so despite being unable to explain what exactly was "off" before about the 3.2.4 upgrade attempt, it looks like you're on the right side of the expected outcome now. Time to go worry about more fun things!
