Table 'forum.forum_oauth_states' doesn't exist

Post by EXEMOK »

I am updating board from from 3.0.11 to the latest version (3.2.4). Got an error
Table 'forum.forum_oauth_states' doesn't exist
As far as I understand this table is needed to login from social networks, and it wasn't yet introduced in 3.0.11

How to disable this update procedure? Can't find how to do it.

you should revert using your backups and start over.

then, upgrade from 3.0 to the latest versions of 3.1 then to 3.2.

that way all of those things will be added along the way.

Strange. Because in manual we have mode to upgrade from 3.0.x to 3.2.x.
https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... /upgrade3/

PS. When trying to update from 3.0.11 to 3.1.12 I've opened "install/database_update.php" and received what on screen. Should I wait or am I doing smth wrong?

that upgrade tales a long time. just wait while that screen is loading. it really should have a progress indicator.

sometimes each section can take many many minutes but if you interupt it there could be problems.

I did 5 upgrades this week from 3.0.x to 3.2.4, on a board with a big database it is not easy, but if you follow all the steps not impossible.
Sorry! My English is bat ;) !!!

You did it from 3.0.x to 3.2.4 or first to 3.1.12 then to 3.2.4?

PS. viewtopic.php?t=2282431
After adding column `post_delete_user` I've received the same message about `topic_delete_user`

First run the STK !!

Than I did the 3.1.0 than the 3.1.12 and than the 3.2.4
But the size of the database and the server configuration are also playing a role.

post_delete_user was not in 3.0.x and first appeared in 3.1.x, so you may be better of upgrading in two steps.
