Creating/ Editing the navbar

Post by Morgain » Thu Mar 14, 2019 4:39 am

This board I'm posting to here has a navbar with 8 buttons and a search box. I looked at the demo forum but it has no navbar at the top. The search box is in the header graphic area.
Is that how my install will be at first? I do not want a search box in my header graphic logo. I would like a navbar the same as this board here.

I looked in the admin demo but I could not see where to create or edit default navbar menu.

I will want to add categories on the navbar with dropdown links to other areas of my site.

yes, the default board will have the search in the header bar.

this site is loosely based on the style called prosilver_se. the default style is called prosilver.

you can choose what style you want from the styles demo here:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styl ... r/demo/3.2

some will already have the search in the navbar or elsewhere.

there are extensions that will allow you to add more links to the navbar and other areas as well.
try the extensions forums below.

check out the links in that menu bar above you can find just about anything you want/need to know about phpbb there and if you can find it there then probably somebody can answer it for you in the forums.

luck,
robert
