admin panel
posting tab
manage attachment extensions

At the top you can add the new suffix

You may also need to allow it in the forums you want in
manage attachment extension groups

Hi, I added .reason .cmb .rex and .rx2 but I get an http error when trying to upload .reason files as example. My Manage attachment extension groups settings are displayd on the screenshot.

I just made a test text file on my computer and gave it the .reason suffix and uploaded it ok so the principle is fine.

Try switching to the default prosilver to see if that works.

It causes a http error message on Prosilver as well.

It only says http error, (please see the screenshot).
If you see that error again, open the development tools of your browser (F12 in Firefox or Ctrl+Shift+C in Opera) and check the "network" tab for any errors

• Perform a request or
the page to see detailed information about network activity.
• Click on the
button to start performance analysis.

These are the instant texts when pressing F12. By clicking the button it shows a list that is heprea for me to understand.

I tested .rx2 and .cmb - these did upload just fine. It's .reason that causes an error. The file I tried to upload is less than 1mb so it's not too big as I allow 25mb per a file.

Haa, I found out the problem. The .reason file didn't upload because the project file was opened by my Reason software, you need to close a project to be able to upload it.
