I have a website that I basically inherited when the owner no longer wanted to run it. He pays the bills but I administer and run the site. Here is the problem, The PHP software is 3.0.12 and although notices were being sent out to do the upgrade because they were cutting off PHP. I never got the notices. The site owner just ignored them. I have gotten that part straightened out so I now get the notices and they moved me to one of the few servers they have that will still run the old version but I only have a week at best to do the update. I am NOT a coder so I am lost if the system will not automatically do the update with minimal input from me. From what I have been told this upgrade is not going to be that easy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, Lunarpages, the host, is far from helpful in this endeavor. They will gladly "Attempt" to do the upgrade but with no guarantee of success. Oh, And I will have to pay them to do it and if it takes more than two hours it is another 60.00 an hour. Well, it generally takes them 12-16 hours just to answer a site down tech ticket!!!!
