I just want index.php to be viewforum.php

Hey guys i would really appreciate help with this.. I just want my page to look like viewforum.php instead of index.php... when i go to index.php someone has to click on the forum name before opening the page with all the topics.. what id like is for someone to go directly to the viewforum.php page with all the posts. and when they click on home. i just want it to stay on that page. so annoyed that it says half the registered users and guest are parked on the index page while some are on the other page... i just need one page can't find any options or settings for the life of me..
