Email settings

Post by unbelievable_10 » Fri Jul 12, 2019 1:12 am

I'm a newbie, so basically, I've been trying to set this up for a very long time, I've spoke to my host and they've also tried to fix it but they didn't found a solution and they told me that the best solution is to open a thread here on this forum, so basically, here are my email settings

We've tried to fix it with many solutions, but none of them worked, I don't know if we put something wrong, or we don't have an appropiate extension, I would like to hear your opinion and to try to get help from someone who knows where's the issue.

At a glance, your SMTP server address and protocol are wrong. You need to use ssl://lu-shared01.cpanelplaftofm.com in that field, assuming they haven’t done anything weird with the ports and are expecting an SSL connection of port 465. The rest looks right though I obviously can’t verify your email password.

the first thing to try is set smtp to no.

then you will use whatever email setup your host has in place.

if that does not work, then you can make the changes mentioned above to the protocol etc.

Thanks, I replaced with that and I made it work.
