failed to open stream: No such file or directory (solved)

Post by Alberto70 » Mon Dec 02, 2019 8:39 am

Hi everybody,

Maybe someone has an idea that can help me?

I have version 3.2.8 running. So far everything ran smoothly.
Now my provider had to change the hard disks on the server.
Since then my forum doesn't open anymore.

The error message is:

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/class_loader.php on line 160: require(./phpbb/routing-helper.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/class_loader.php on line 160: require(./phpbb/routing-helper.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
But I can't find such a file, neither in my backup nor on the server.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

Thank you in advance.

If the file phpbb/routing-helper.php is not there then I would suspect that your host has not restored everything correctly (there may be other files missing). This is, in my opinion, your hosts problem to resolve.

I would suggest just re-uploading all of the phpBB files but not knowing what your hosts have done you need to speak with them first.

Thank you. I have checked the file. but I can't find a file like that, also in a new fresh download. I'm already in contact with my provider. He say, I should try to upload my backup. I have done that, without positive result.

You did leave the index.htm and .htaccess, I presume/hope.
