the error states that the search table has crashed. you need to repair that table and maybe even repair the whole database.

if you are having extreme loads then the database is often the first thing to show a problem.

if you do not know how to do these things, contact your host and they will either do it for you or tell you how to do it.

luck,
robert

If you are nearing the limits of the allowed database size (check your hosting account specifications), then repairing or optimising may not even be possible (sometimes all manipulations will fail (even truncating) in which case you'll need assistance from the host.

If you can truncate, then that would only be a temporary solution (if database size limit comes into play)
If that is the case perhaps it is an option to switch to Sphinx?
We should embrace problems, without which there wouldn't be any solutions.

Be aware that when a table crashes it can quite often happen again - you need to find the root cause of the problem.

and often, your host can help you with that. the database server is their responsibility. normally there is nothing in phpbb that would cause these types of problems.
