move to another host

Post by huxivoye »

Hi, I'm in the process changing the host for the my site.

Is there an easy way to copy the forum and database etc to put on the new site? The forum goes back a number of years and would hate to lose any posts

Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

or ask your new host to transfer it for you. most of the time that is a service offered by hosts to new customers.
be sure to backup your database yourself from the old host before you do anything.
