IPS 4.4.5

Post by IamKangy » Fri Aug 09, 2019 12:00 pm

I am currently using the latest version of Invision Power, which is 4.4.5, but I want to move over to phpBB. Is there a convertor to be able to move from the latest IPS to the latest phpBB?

I have found a convertor for the old IPS v3 but nothing for v 4.

Any help on how I can move my forum over would be extremely grateful.

Thank you.

See Available Converters.
Hi Mick,

I did see that, but that is from 2014 and the last IPS was IPB 3.4.x hence why I opened a topic.

As far as I’m aware they are the only ones available. I have seen suggestions that it may be possible by converting to another board software first. I also see there are paid conversion services available on the web. Somebody may pop in with an idea but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I can't even seem to find any of the paid ones you are talking about. Would you care to share where they are so I can take a look please?

Thank you Mick I will check it out. Otherwise we might just have to start the forum a fresh. Which is no big deal if it comes to it. 8-)
