Language packs for Spanish for phpBB 3.2 and other languages?

Post by «THÖMÅS®©» » Sun Oct 08, 2017 2:37 am

Hello again phpBB.

I have been trying to find out why our Mexican Spanish language pack is not working and it appears that it is only out for 3.1.x and not 3.2.x. Will there be an update or is there one I have missed?

Please point me in the direction where I can get it and other language packs for 3.2. Thanks.

**EDIT**

Do these language packs translate not only the board text but posts as well?

Hi,

They only translate all the words of the board and not the posts.

When a translation for 3.2.x in your language comes, depends on the author of the language pack. We don't have any idea, if and when they will do it.

is there a way to use something like Google Translate instead of having it as an extension, but work the same way as the language packs?

That is not what we mean.

We want Google Translate to work as part of the language selection in users profiles.

“We”, is there more than one of you? :)

You could always make an extension request, some one may have a go.
